Pearland Regional Airport plans Open House

Pearland Regional Airport in Texas is hosting an open house for Houston area pilots and community leaders Saturday, May 9, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

SCHEDULE AT A GLANCE:

  • 11 a.m. – 12 p.m.: Aircraft display and bounce house open to arriving guests
  • 12: Lunch served
  • 12:45: Welcome speech by staff and airport owners
  • 2: Paper airplane contest and raffle drawing

The Open House will feature complimentary BBQ, a warbird static display, face painters and a bounce house for the kids, raffle drawings, and a paper airplane contest.

Occupying 450 acres, Pearland Regional Airport is a privately-owned, FAA reliever airport with approximately 40,000 annual operations. The airport is home to over 200 based aircraft and 15 aviation-related businesses. In mid-2013, Texas Aviation Partners began its long-term management contract of the airport and FBO.
