Direct To Podcast discusses ‘Drone Strikes’

By General Aviation News Staff · May 14, 2015 ·

Are drones a true menace to General Aviation aircraft, and what’s being done to keep you safe? And, are drone strikes more of a threat than bird strikes?

In Boldmethod’s second podcast episode of Direct To, Aleks Udris and Colin Cutler ask three industry experts what they think about the drone danger: Jon Resnick, Policy Lead for DJI, the world’s largest drone manufacturer, Ben Marcus, co-founder of AirMap.io and founder of NoFlyZone.org, as well as Al Palmer, Director of the University of North Dakota’s UAS Research Center.

“Whether you’re commuting to work, at your kid’s soccer practice, or just looking to learn a little more about aviation, the Direct To podcast is a great way to stay informed about what’s happening in aviation,” said BoldMethod co-founder Colin Cutler. “Plus, you’ll make yourself a smarter, safer, and more entertained pilot.”
