Pictures of the day: Breitling Jet Team in Times Square

The Breitling Jet Team recently brought a full-size L-39C Albatros jet to New  York City’s Times Square as part of the team’s first ever North American tour to New York City. In addition to the Jet Team, VIPs in attendance will include friends of the brand, professional golfer and amateur pilot Morgan Hoffmann, golfer Suzann Pettersen, in town for the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship, and football legend Boomer Esiason.IMG_7619The Breitling Jet Team is made up of seven L-39 C Albatros jets that can reach speeds of up to 565 mph.

AL6A9889Following their performance at New York’s Bethpage Airshow at Jones Beach over Memorial Day weekend and their flight around some of New York’s most recognizable landmarks, such at the Statue of Liberty and the World Trade Center, the team will continue on to the OC Air Show in Ocean City, Maryland, and the Vectren Dayton Airshow in Dayton, Ohio.
