By General Aviation News Staff · June 17, 2015 ·

HEBER CITY, Utah — OK3 AIR, the FBO at Heber City Municipal Airport-Russ McDonald Field (36U), has reopened for daylight operations after the first phase of a runway and apron refurbishment was completed.

Construction still continues on the field lighting electrical system, FBO officials note.

The project consisted of three separate phases. The first phase involved resurfacing the entire runway, followed by a partial reconstruction.

“We want to stress that the size and location of the runway remain exactly the same,” said Alan Robertson, CFO.
