DTC DUAT warns of possible shutdown July 16

By General Aviation News Staff · July 14, 2015 ·

According to a report by Aviation International News, DTC DUAT is warning customers that it might not be able to provide aviation weather briefings and file flight plans after July 16, when the FAA “intends to shut down DTC’s connections that allow us to file flight plans with the ARTCCs and AFSS system, as well as provide the complete weather data required to provide weather briefings.” In May, the FAA awarded a new contract to Computer Sciences Corp. (CSC) and Lockheed Martin for services previously provided by CSC and Data Transformation (DTC).
