Air Force secretary to keynote IAWA conference

Secretary of the US Air Force Deborah Lee James will be the keynote speaker at the International Aviation Womens Association (IAWA) conference, slated for Nov. 10-12 in Dubai.

DebJamesJames is the 23rd secretary of the Air Force and is responsible for the affairs of the Department of the Air Force, including the organizing, training, equipping and providing for the welfare of its nearly 664,000 active duty, Guard, Reserve and civilian Airmen and their families. She also oversees the Air Force’s annual budget of more than $139 billion.

The conference is expected to attract more than 150 women in the aviation and aerospace professions worldwide, and will feature speaker panels and presentations from industry leaders.
