FreeFlight partners with Blackhawk Modifications

By General Aviation News Staff · August 3, 2015 ·

FreeFlight Systems is now providing its ADS-B systems as a part of a bundled package that Blackhawk Modifications is offering to engine upgrade customers.

Blackhawk engine upgrade customers will receive the RANGR FDL-1090-TX Mode S extended squitter transponder, 1201 WAAS/GPS sensor and GPS antenna. The package also includes a FreeFlight 978 MHz receiver, the FDL-978-RX.

The package offers full ADS-B compliance that meets the 2020 mandate, with the added benefit of subscription-free weather and traffic information, company officials note.
