Alpha Systems AOA get FAA nod

By General Aviation News Staff · August 13, 2015 ·

Alpha Systems AOA reports that all its angle of attack (AOA) systems, covering six models in single and dual displays for pressurized and unpressurized airplanes (24 models in all), have been accepted for installation industry-wide by the FAA.

This means that customers of AOA Systems can install the AOAs in their aircraft without needing to buy an STC or get complicated signoffs, according to company officials.

Alpha Systems AOA prices start at $1,995. Student (ground training) versions are also available.
