Video: Visiting the Mid America Flight Museum

By General Aviation News Staff · August 17, 2015 ·

Smitty Smith from FunPlacesToFly.com sent us this video of a recent tour of the Mid America Flight Museum in Mt. Pleasant, Texas (KOSA).

“Our EAA Chapter flew out to Mount Pleasant, Texas, and was given a tour of the museum,” he said. “There are a lot of beautiful aviation museums across the country that have their own particular mission. This museum differentiates itself from many other museums in that the great majority of the airplanes in the museum fly on a regular basis, and that ongoing projects are being restored to fly.”

The museum features the North America B-25, DC-3, Ford Tri-motor, T-6 Texan, T-28 Trojan, Beechcraft Staggerwing, and the Grumman TBF Avenger (in the works), he added.
