SEATTLE — Raisbeck Engineering has begun FAA certification flight-testing on the first of two new Swept Blade Propeller designs for the King Air 350.
The Hartzell propellers incorporate the latest swept blade technology that is also available for King Air 90 and 200 models, according to company officials.
The Raisbeck/Hartzell 4-bladed Aluminum Swept Blade Propellers are currently in FAA Certification flight-testing and will be completed by month-end.
The 5-bladed Composite Swept Blade Propellers begin certification flight-testing on the same King Air 350 in October, and will be completed in early November of this year..
Both versions of the newest 350 props will be on display at Raisbeck’s booth during this year’s NBAA Convention, held Nov. 17-19 in Las Vegas. King Air 350 owners can place orders for the new props at the show. Deliveries begin in January 2016.
