Video: A different kind of flying

By General Aviation News Staff · September 29, 2015 ·

The folks at Team Fly Halo, a group of aerobatic parameter pilots and instructors, recently posted this trailer of a web-based adventure film that they plan to releasing in the next couple months.

“We travel the country flying the most scenic places imaginable in our small backpack-aircraft, and one of our team members, Ryan Southwell is a cinematographer as well,” Shane Denherder, primary instructor, explains. “We filmed this production over the course of two summer trips and it includes flights from the Grand Canyon, Monument Valley, Arizona, Utah, Bonneville Salt Flats, Salt Lake, Fry Canyon, Burning Man, Nevada, Natural Bridges, San Rafael Swell, Ship Rock New Mexico and more.”

That is really a great idea. Soaring along the ridges and valleys of the southwest is a wonderful way to fly.
