FAA administrator to address flight training conference

Michael Huerta, the administrator of the FAA, will join the year’s largest gathering of industry professionals at the Redbird Migration Flight Training Conference on Wednesday, Nov. 4, at Redbird Skyport in San Marcos, Texas.

Presenting the conference keynote, Huerta will address topics important to the industry, including changes to regulatory policies and the impact of advancing aviation technology.

Now in its fifth year, the Migration Flight Training Conference has become the yearly focal point for flight schools and universities to discuss innovative instructional techniques, newly developing technologies, and successful marketing strategies. Included among this year’s conference topics are direct-to-consumer marketing strategies, flight analytics, and the ImagineFlight affiliate network.

The Redbird Migration Conference is open to all flight training organizations worldwide by visiting migration-conference.com and requesting an invitation.

    So in one daily edition of GA News, I read where the Lycoming factory in Pennsylvania has a new “green” ion Nitriding facility saving 1.2 million pounds of carbon dioxide annually while the Administrator is likely spewing a like amount speaking at or going to the RedBird Migration in his trusty jet. Pretty green!
