Too bad they managed to destroy the area around the falls. Such an ugly scenery of buildings next to one of earth’s natural wonder

The Canadian side is a good example of what can be done. They have retained the natural beauty of the falls. The drive from Fort Erie (near Buffalo) to Niagara Falls, Ontario is about 26 miles of scenery along the Niagara River.

The Canadian side is a good example of what can be done. They have retained the natural beauty of the falls. The drive from Fort Erie (near Buffalo) to Niagara Falls, Ontario is about 26 miles of scenery along the Niagara River eventually you arrive at the falls. This area is clean, open, and scenic…..not to be missed.

It should be noted that attempts are being made to cleanup the American side. The fatal mistake was the Robert Moses parkway that runs along the river effectively cutting off the river from the people of Niagara county. Slowly it is being torn up allowing access to the river. A big step in the right direction. Perhaps the American side can be saved.
