WICHITA, Kan.— Appearance Group has acquired Dave’s Detailing, also known as The Allen Groupe, and its U.S.-based operations.
Since July 2013, The Allen Groupe has been operating under Chapter 11 bankruptcy proceedings filed with the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Southern District of Indiana.
“This acquisition removes The Allen Groupe’s operations from bankruptcy proceedings and immediately creates a stable operating environment,” said Don Henry, chief operating officer at Appearance Group.
Services will continue at each of The Allen Groupe’s U.S.-based locations using existing employees and will be uninterrupted throughout the transition, according to company officials.
The addition of The Allen Groupe’s locations to the Appearance Group network provides customers with access to services at a combined total of 45 facilities.
