Bay Area Aero Club recognizes Texas pilot

The Bay Area Aero Club at Pearland Regional Airport (KLVJ) in Texas has announced that William “Bo” Hunter of LaMarque, Texas, is the first inductee to the Bay Area Aero Club Honor Roll.

The club’s board of directors noted it is recognizing Bo for “his frequent and numerous flights for Pilots For Patients, and for his selfless and tireless commitment to community service.”

The board recently established the Honor Roll to recognize members for: Exemplary service to the club; exemplary community/charitable/public service; and exemplary service to general aviation.

The Bay Area Aero Club is a non-profit flying club that has existed since 1979. It is governed and operated by volunteers, and has a current membership of about 200.
