Raisbeck now taking orders for King Air 350 props

By General Aviation News Staff · November 18, 2015 ·

SEATTLE — Both of Raisbeck Engineering’s newly designed propeller models for the King Air 350 have been released for customer orders.

Both propellers, manufactured by Hartzell Propeller, incorporate swept-blade technology, so important in quieting cabin and cockpit noise levels, according to Raisbeck officials.

The Aluminum Swept 4-Blade Propellers (above, left) will begin deliveries in January 2016, and the Composite Swept 5-Blade Propellers (above, right) in April 2016. Both have completed all FAA certification flight tests and documentation, company officials report.

The aluminum propellers are priced at $98,500 and require a $20,000 deposit to secure a delivery position, and the composite propellers are $139,500 with a $25,000 deposit. Both prices are for orders received in 2015.

Additionally, a no-obligation waiting list has been launched, which lets customers make up their minds when their turn comes around. Firm deposits have priority, Raisbeck officials noted.
