During last month’s National Business Aviation Association‘s (NBAA) Convention last month, Phillips 66 Aviation presented a check for $22,000 to Corporate Angel Network (CAN).
The donation is the result of an advertising program that recognizes and awards four corporate flight departments for flying cancer patients to medical treatment.
The award began in 2001 and is co-sponsored by Phillips 66 Aviation, Safe Flight Instrument Corporation and Business & Commercial Aviation magazine. This year’s recipients of the Corporate Angel Award include Aetna, Caterpillar, Dassault Falcon Jet and Massachusetts Mutual Life Insurance Company.
CAN is the only charitable organization in the U.S whose sole mission is to help cancer patients access the best possible medical treatment by arranging free air travel to treatment centers across the country. Phillips 66 Aviation has participated in the program since 2010, donating more than $130,000.
