SavvyAnalysis, which provides professional engine data analysis for piston GA aircraft, has introduced a new “Pro Pack” offering for maintenance shops and fleet operators.
Since 2012 SavvyAnalysis has offered a service to aircraft owners who wish to have their engine monitor data examined by a professional analyst. The owner receives a written report, complete with detailed analytical findings and recommendations.
Just as engine oil analysis has become an important diagnostic tool for maintaining the health of an aircraft engine, the SavvyAnalysis reports have proved extremely helpful in detecting and diagnosing problems with fuel, ignition, induction and turbocharging systems, as well as pilot operating technique, according to company officials. Every uploaded flight is also automatically scanned by Savvy’s proprietary FEVA algorithm to provide an early warning of exhaust valve failure, officials add.
Until now, these reports have only been available to individual aircraft owners on an annual subscription basis. The new Pro Pack program makes them available in an “a la carte” fashion that better suits the needs of both maintenance shops and fleet operators, such as flight schools and flying clubs.
Under this new program, shops and fleet operators can purchase “packs” of five, 10, or 20 analysis credits. Pricing starts at $249.
