SUN ‘n FUN invites fellow airshow organizers to fly-in

By General Aviation News Staff · December 7, 2015 ·

LAKELAND, Florida — There are thousands of airshows around the world each year.

SUN ‘n FUN hosts 50 to 60 airshow acts each spring. To make meeting prospective performers — in the flesh —  easier, SUN ‘n FUN officials are inviting organizers to the upcoming fly-in, slated for April 5-10, 2016.

“SUN ‘n FUN will provide one day’s free admission to two approved members of any documented airshow,” said Greg Gibson, director of air operations for SUN ‘n FUN.

In addition to admission, the organizer will receive special access to the Airshow Performer’s Chalet.

“We want the performers and organizers to make use of our event to make their businesses stronger and more robust. What better place to watch and select performers for your airshow than at SUN ‘n FUN?” continued Gibson. “We’d like to help make that easier, and at the same time get to know our airshow neighbors during Aviation’s Season Opener!”

Organizers should contact Greg Gibson for full details (no walk-ups allowed) by email or phone at 863-904-4041.
