American Aero FTW holds toy drive

By General Aviation News Staff · December 14, 2015 ·

FORT WORTH, Texas — More than 300 toys and 100 bicycles were collected at the third annual holiday luncheon and toy drive hosted by American Aero FTW, an FBO at Meacham International Airport.

The event benefits the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots Program.

American Aero FTW employees, airport tenants and clients, as well as area firefighters and police officers, attended the festivities.

Each year, Toys for Tots requests new, unwrapped toys to distribute as Christmas gifts to less fortunate children.

“This has grown to be a wonderful event with our airport neighbors and friends as we celebrate the holidays by giving back to our local community,” said Riggs Brown, American Aero FTW general manager. “American Aero FTW is honored to be a member of this generous aviation community.”

The Toys for Tots program benefits about 150,000 children throughout Tarrant and surrounding North Texas counties.
