Eagle Creek Aviation Services expands operations

By General Aviation News Staff · December 14, 2015 ·

INDIANAPOLIS — Eagle Creek Aviation Services has completed the purchase of Montgomery Aviation’s three North-Central Indiana locations.

The purchase of Montgomery Aviation includes the FBO, flight school, and maintenance facility at Indianapolis Executive Airport (TYQ), the FBO at the Frankfort/Clinton County Airport (FKR), and the FBO at the Grissom Aeroplex (GUS).

The Montgomery Aviation name will remain for the time being and customers can expect to see the same faces on the line and behind the counter, company officials noted.

Changes at the Montgomery Aviation facilities will be incremental over the coming months, company officials added. Plans call for the expansion of current maintenance, flight school, charter, and aircraft sales operations at Indy Executive. Specifically, a renewed focus will be placed on enhancing turbine maintenance at the Indianapolis Executive facility.

Additionally, Montgomery’s Frankfort and Grissom locations will receive a renewed focus on FBO services, company officials said.

These expansions will not alter Eagle Creek’s current FBO, aircraft charter, and maintenance operation at Eagle Creek Airpark (EYE) in Indianapolis.
