In just two weeks, the U.S. Sport Aviation Expo will open its gates Jan. 20 for its 12th annual run.
With the Expo NOTAM released, pilots can begin their flight planning.
More than 140 exhibitors are expected to display a variety of aircraft and aviation supplies, while more than 60 educational forums offered during the four days of the show.
AOPA Ambassador Jamie Beckett — and General Aviation News columnist — will host two Rusty Pilot Seminars.
The new feature-length movie, “Flying Again,” will be presented on Thursday and Saturday at 12:30 p.m., immediately following the Rusty Pilot Seminars.
Kitplanes Editor Paul Dye and maintenance guru Mike Busch are headlining the daily Keynote Speaker slots on Wednesday and Friday, while an industry panel will discuss “The Present and Future of Personal Flying” on Thursday, and a “live” Uncontrolled Airspace Podcast is set for Saturday.
The second annual Aircraft Sales Lot will also be available, where private aircraft owners can display their aircraft for sale.
Also featured will be a new indoor drone exhibition and demonstration area, fabric covering and propeller balancing workshops, and a daily water survival demonstration.
Youth under the age of 18 will be admitted for free on Saturday, Jan. 23, when accompanied by an adult.
