Hillsboro Aviation appoints new aircraft sales manager

By General Aviation News Staff · January 12, 2016 ·

HILLSBORO, Ore. — Hillsboro Aviation has appointed Jeffery Cullen to its management team as aircraft sales manager.

Jeffery Cullen Hillsboro AviationCullen brings with him more than 33 years in the helicopter industry with well over 15,000 hours in various aircraft and over 20 years in aircraft sales.

In addition to his sales roles, he has also held positions in senior management, operations and training roles.

As aircraft sales manager, Cullen’s focus lies in expanding Hillsboro Aviation’s global footprint in both helicopter and airplane sales, company officials noted.

Founded in 1980, Hillsboro Aviation provides services such as helicopter and airplane charter, aircraft and parts sales, MRO services, avionics equipment sales, and installations. Hillsboro Aviation has flown over 1.2 million hours in its 35-year history and supported a variety of missions including aerial firefighting, construction, search and rescue, TV news, aerial survey, and seismic operations. The company has sold more than 1,000 new and used aircraft and represents over 50 of the industry’s manufacturers, suppliers and vendors.

In the spring of 2016, the company will move into its new corporate headquarters at the Portland-Hillsboro Airport, an expansion that is the second phase of a 425,000-square-foot development project.
