Banyan slates ADS-B event

FORT LAUDERDALE, Florida — Banyan Air Service based at Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport is hosting an event that will prepare and educate aircraft owners on ADS-B, FANS-1A, EFIS and/or IFE upgrades.

Representatives from Rockwell Collins, Universal Avionics, Garmin and CMD Flight Solutions will be available to help with solutions and package incentives, Banyan officials noted.

Also participating with aircraft upgrades for King Air owners and operators will be Raisbeck Engineering showcasing its Swept Blade Turbofan Propeller for the King Air 200/B200/B200GT, BLR Aerospace Winglet Systems for the King Air B200, B200C, and B200GT, and Blackhawk Modifications with engine upgrade packages for King Airs. Among the aircraft displayed will be Banyan’s Quest KODIAK and possibly a HondaJet.

This event, slated for Feb. 18, is geared to Citation, Lear, King Air, PC-12, CL 604, Piaggio and Falcon 2000 aircraft owners and operators at Banyan at FXE in hangar 62. Attendees can attend anytime from 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. and visit with the manufacturers.

A catered lunch will be provided from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. by Banyan. RSVP online at Banyanair.com/2020 to receive special discounts on parts and service and a 10% discount at Banyan Pilot Shop the day of the event.
