Wipaire to hold safety seminar in Leesburg, Florida

By General Aviation News Staff · January 21, 2016 ·

Wipaire will hold a safety seminar at its service center in Leesburg, Florida, Saturday, Feb. 27. The seminar will  feature a variety of topics for seaplane and landplane pilots alike.

Based at the Leesburg International Airport (KLEE), Wipaire’s service center expanded into a new, larger hangar in 2015.

“Following last year’s successful grand opening, we are excited to announce the return of our safety seminar to our Leesburg service center,” said Chuck Wiplinger, president and COO of Wipaire. “Since last year’s event, our Leesburg location has been named a Cessna Authorized Service Facility. We look forward to seeing our Florida neighbors in our hangar again.”

Topics for the safety seminar, schedule, and door prizes will be released in the coming weeks, but attendees can expect topics of interest for all pilots, as well as seaplane-specific concerns.

FAA Wings credit will be available and a continental breakfast will be provided.

Both fly-in and drive-in visitors are welcome. RSVPs are requested to ensure adequate seating and food. To RSVP, visit Wipaire.com/SafetySeminar or call Amy Gesch at 651-414-6839.
