SocialFlight.com Destination of the Week

By General Aviation News Staff · January 26, 2016 ·

Have you ever been to an aviation-themed hotel? The newest hotel on Mustang Island in South Texas is Amelia’s Landing, which is near Mustang Beach Airport (KRAS).

Once you have landed at Mustang Beach Airport, a free shuttle is available to bring you to the hotel.

Bring your own tie-downs because the airport can not provide them, hotel officials note.

The hotel, which is pilot owned and operated, has 23 aviation-themed rooms.

Anyone that stays at the hotel also has two courtesy cars available to them.

Check it out here. Be sure to click on the Hotspot button (the flame icon that is the third button down on the right) to bring up the hotel’s information.
