Video: Head-to-head comparison of inflight cameras

By General Aviation News Staff · February 17, 2016 ·

Our friends at The HD Pilot recently uploaded this video, explaining: “Up until now, all of our HD Pilot videos have been made with a GoPro camera. But recently, we were given the opportunity to evaluate a Drift Ghost-S HD camera and compare it with the top of the line GoPro 4 Black.”

I’ve been using the Drift for a few years and in my opinion it is better. Better mount with the threaded hole and the rotatable lense is something that is indispensable. Simple Micro SD card to transferring to your computer, no cords necessary. Try them you will like it. Mine is the older Drift Ghost HD and it is plenty small, not sure I want the smaller S. And the car mode with cord to airplane power is perfect. Starts anytime plugged in so you don’t forget to power it up. You will love it. I use RAM mounts for everything.
