The annual donor appreciation fly-in for the Recreational Aviation Foundation will move this year to Triple Tree Aerodrome in Woodruff, South Carolina. The fly-in, slated for June 3-5, was moved to the South Carolina field to accommodate more airplanes and people, according to RAF officials.
The fly-in has traditionally been held the last weekend of June at Ryan Field, close to West Glacier, Montana. Because of its limited aircraft parking area and for safety reasons, RAF officials had to limit the number of aircraft at the fly-in.
Moving it to Triple Tree means RAF officials “will not limit the number of aircraft or vehicles for this event.”

The RAF will be on site for a no-host fly-in at Ryan Field June 25-26.
“Whether you drive or fly to this beautiful airstrip, come join us, as it is definitely a place folks love to visit,” RAF officials noted. “If you’re so inclined, bring your work gloves. We’ll find a chore.”
