More cities proclaim March GA Appreciation Month

The Alliance for Aviation Across America reports that several more cities and towns have proclaimed March General Aviation Appreciation Month, including the City Council of New Orleans, Mayor Randy Roach of Lake Charles, Mayor Hilda Curry of New Iberia, and Mayor Ollie Tyler of Shreveport, Louisiana. In Louisiana, general aviation airports contribute $966 million to the state’s economy annually.

Also making proclamations were the Board of Selectmen of Gorham and Mayor Jim Bouley of Concord, N.H.  In New Hampshire, the economic output of general aviation is over $1 billion annually.
