Grant County International, Moses Lake, Washington. Great variety of (huge) runways, interesting traffic but modest to light traffic, friendly (and skilled) tower, friendly (and skilled) flight school, plenty of good weather, and a pleasant terminal for GA.

Stone Mountain (now closed) Kennesaw Ga. If weather was down or the bird was sick it was just a great place to hang out.
