First Super Legend landing on a pickup truck by Greg Koontz Airshows this weekend

SULPHUR SPRINGS, TEXAS – American Legend Aircraft Company reports the first scheduled performance of a Super Legend HP aircraft landing on a pickup truck will be this weekend.

Greg Koontz Airshows will perform at Luke Air Force Base near Glendale, Ariz., during its 75 Years of Airpower airshow April 2-3,. This will be the first public performance by Koontz as he lands the new Super Legend HP on top of a moving pickup truck.Greg-Koontz_Super-Legend

The Super Legend HP is a stock aircraft that incorporates options specific to the airshow, including a Smoking Airplanes 3.5 gallon smoke system and a larger step allowing easier access to the cabin.

The Super Legend HP, which features a 180-horsepower Titan engine, will be the featured aircraft in Greg Koontz’ “Alabama Boys/World’s Smallest Airport” airshow act throughout 2016.

Koontz will make his second 2016 appearance in the World’s Smallest Airport flying routine at SUN ‘n FUN Fly-in. Also, see the Legend Cub lineup at SUN ‘n FUN in Lakeland, Florida, April 5-10.

    Canadian pilot Gary Schroeder performed on the Airshow Circuit landing his clipped wing cub on a Ford half-ton over 15 years ago. He also did a Comedy Act on shows in both the U S and Canada. His Ford truck was sponsored by Parkeay Ford Sales in Waterloo Ontario.
    I was his Airshow Announcer for many of his performances.
