Leading Edge Aviation selects Gulf Coast Avionics for installation, repair

By General Aviation News Staff · April 4, 2016 ·

Leading Edge Aviation has selected Gulf Coast Avionics as its exclusive provider of avionics installation, repair and troubleshooting. The appointment follows Leading Edge Aviation’s move to two hangars adjacent to the Gulf Coast Avionics facility at Lakeland Linder Regional Airport (KLAL).

Founded in 1994, Leading Edge Aviation is a Cirrus Factory Authorized Service Center.

“We are extremely pleased to have the opportunity to work closely with Leading Edge Aviation’s President Mark Moberg and his entire team,” said Gulf Coast Avionics President Rick Garcia. “They’ve earned a reputation as one of the top Cirrus Service Centers in the country by treating their customers with integrity and settling for nothing but the best.”

Moberg also said that the opportunity to be located across the taxiway from Gulf Coast Avionics was another differentiator in Lakeland’s favor.

“We’ve done thousands of inspections, repairs and upgrades to Cirrus aircraft over our 32 year history and while those services are the core of our business, today avionics repairs and upgrades are a growing part of our future,” he said. “Cirrus owners love their airplanes and having the latest in avionics capabilities is high on their priority list.”
