Dallas Avionics named exclusive distributor of NavWorx ADS-B solution

By General Aviation News Staff · May 6, 2016 ·

Dallas Avionics has been named the exclusive distributor of the NavWorx ADS600-B.

“The NavWorx solution for 2020 ADS-B mandate not only meets every FAA requirement, but it also is very affordable,” said Dallas Avionics Vice President of Sales Scott Davis. “The ADS600-B is ready for operators to begin equipping their fleets of aircraft.”

The ADS600-B is compliant to FAR 91.225 and FAR 91.227. It meets the TSO/STC ADS-B out mandate, and is a certified receiver for ADS-B in applications.

It has an optional Wi-Fi adapter, offers three simultaneous display capabilities and provides traffic and weather updates.

The NavWorx ADS600-B product is available for both certified and experimental aircraft from a wide variety of aviation retailers.

“The beauty of the NavWorx ADS600-B is that is easily integrates with existing equipment also. The product uses any existing Mode C or Mode S transponders. Customers do not need to replace their existing transponder or altitude encoder,” said Davis.

22 Mar 2017. I have been anxiously awaiting an update from NAVWORX. I purchased the ADS600B system PN200-0012, with YiFi, TransponSPE and GPS antenna options last July in good faith that it would meet all the ADS-B UAT requirements as they advertised. Installation began days before the first FAA letter notification in September. I have sent NAVWORX several E-Mails with no replies, or received any recent updates, as they stated they would. Today, I went to their website and noted several changes, including the removal of Bill Moffitts last written update on his site, which gave some hope for a positive resolution. Now, I feel some additional frustration. Do you have any recent information? Also, do you have any suggestions in getting this system approved. I do not have a WAAS panel mounted GPS. I have an old KLN90B and an Adventure Pilot iFly 740 which is a great unit. Perhaps an approved external WAAS GPS unit can be utilized tied into the NAVWORX system. Thanks for any of your information and updates.
