Cranland Airport Fly-in and Pancake Breakfast slated

By General Aviation News Staff · May 10, 2016 ·

The SocialFlight Event of the Week is the Cranland Airport Fly-in and Pancake Breakfast in Hanson, Mass., May 15.

SocialFlightJoin EAA Chapter 279 at Cranland Airport (28M) in Hanson, Mass., this Sunday May 15, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.

Not only is the breakfast great, but there are some amazing planes that you will see while you are there. There can be everything from Piper Cubs on floats to a de Havilland Canada DHC-1 Chipmunk.

Cranland Airport owes its namesake to the industry that it was built for: The cranberry industry and all the local crop dusters in the area.

Organizers say to make sure you bring your lawn chairs so that you can watch all the planes come and go.

This is one of the most popular pancake breakfasts in the state, so you will get to see a lot of cool airplanes from all of the local airports, they add.
