      Well, I lived in Wichita and worked at Cessna. That picture is from the East side of town near McConnell AFB located off of Pawnee Ave. Circa 1950’s. The grassy area was the parking lot that the Delivery Center operated until the land was sold to the Air Force Base.
      My predecessor told that Cessna charged more for painted aircraft than polished. But the metal work back then was impeccable.
