NextGen seminar July 13 in Minnesota

By General Aviation News Staff · June 24, 2016 ·

Duncan Aviation will host a free NextGen seminar July 13 in Bloomington, Minnesota.

From 8 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. central time, Regional Avionics Sales Manager Mark Francetic and partners Universal Avionics, Satcom Direct, L-3 Aviation Products, Garmin, Rockwell Collins, Honeywell and ARINC Direct will present information about the Automatic Dependent Surveillance-Broadcast (ADS-B) and Future Air Navigation Systems 1A (FANS 1A) mandates.

Discussion includes information about the FAA’s plan to roll out Controller Pilot Data Link Communications-Departure Clearance (CPDLC-DCL) at 56 more airports throughout 2016 and what that means for FANS-equipped business jets.

Presenters will also talk about the Supplemental Type Certificates (STCs) and certified equipment currently available for business jets.

The seminar will be held at the Hilton Mall of America. Registration and a continental breakfast begin at 8 a.m. Lunch will be provided, but seminar space quickly fills to capacity, so company officials advise those interested to RSVP.

contact Mark Francetic for more information and to RSVP.
