MagBuddy mounting system debuts

By General Aviation News Staff · June 29, 2016 ·

VALENCIA, Calif. – Naztech has introduced the MagBuddy Collection, an magnetic mounting system for hands-free mobile device use in your plane or car.

The MagBuddy Collection features a slim, cradle-free design and a high-powered magnet to mount devices where they can be most useful and easy to see.

MagBuddyPlacing any mobile device near the magnetic surface locks it securely onto a fully rotational mount that allows for landscape or portrait use and easy access to controls and ports, making hands-free calling, GPS navigation, audio and video streaming and internet use easier than ever before.

Designed for hands-free connectivity and mobility, MagBuddy affixes easily to nearly any surface from car air vents, windshields and cup holders to home and office surfaces such as appliances, desktops and countertops.

The MagBuddy Collection includes the Anywhere Dock, Dash, Vent, CupHolder, Windshield and Desktop products. Each MagBuddy product comes with two MagBuddy magnetic plates with 3M non-residue coating that attach to mobile devices or cases for use with MagBuddy mounts.

You don’t install new magnetic equipment into a sterile electronic environment of the plane or helo. Those pesky invisible flux fields can mess up compasses and gyros let alone solid state equipment.

Please caution users to avoid placing magnetic items in the cockpit of an aircraft. Magnets can affect navigational equipment such as compasses etc.
