Picture of the day: Dog days of summer

By General Aviation News Staff · July 19, 2016 ·

Capt. Hal Denton sent in this photo of his 1-year-old Australian shepherd, Molly, in a Cessna 182 RG. He notes: “While she will not wear a headset on the ground, as soon as the engine is started, she leaves them on. Then after landing, when the engine is shut down she will pull them off.

“As far as flying, she really just watches out the window and is a happy flyer.

Capt Hal Molly

“My wife wanted to know why we have’t bought Molly a Bose headset…”

Wonder if she ever thinks of herding planes as they move about the taxilanes, ramps, hangar and tie-down areas……

Keep flying, Molly! (And ask Santa for the Bose headset this Christmas.)
