By General Aviation News Staff · September 24, 2016 ·

Quest Aircraft Co. has received type certification for the Kodiak from the Directorate General of Civil Aviation of the Republic of Chile, adding to the aircraft’s accreditations in Latin America.

Earlier this year, Quest named Santiago, Chile-based Aeroservicio as its authorized Kodiak sales representative for Chile.

Kodiaks are in operation around the globe. Key market segments include personal use, business/corporate use, Part 135 operations, government and humanitarian organizations. The Kodiak has received 23 certifications covering 33 countries, with several additional certifications imminent, according to company officials.
