Pictures of the day: Globe-trotting homebuilt

Millie Santiago and Galin Hernandez of PuertoRicoFlyer.com recently sent in these photos with a short note:

“The first photo was taken on Nov. 23, 2009, after we landed our KIS Cruiser TR-4 (N819PR) in Panama, the southern most country on the North American Continent and put the Panamanian flag on our airplane.

“The second was taken a few days ago (Sept. 12, 2016) after we landed our airplane in Canada, the northern most country on the North American continent, and put the Canadian flag on our airplane.

“Now we have flown our airplane through all the countries on the North American continent to include Belize, Canada, Costa Rica, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Mexico, Nicaragua, Panama and the United States.

“The third photo shows N819PR with the flags of all the countries we have flown it to.

“In addition to all the countries on the North American Continent we have also flown our airplane to Belize, Cuba, the Bahamas, Turks & Caicos, Dominican Republic, Haiti, Puerto Rico, US Virgin Islands and most of the eastern Caribbean islands.”
