The Recreational Aviation Foundation has launched a Photo Contest. Pilots are encouraged to send a photo of their plane at a recreational airstrip.
The winners will be used on RAF’s greeting cards, which are sent as thank you notes to thousands of donors and supporters.
RAF officials note that photos with airplanes and great scenery are the most desirable. Email high resolution digital photos in .jpg or .png format to [email protected] by 5 p.m. EST Nov. 10, 2016.
Please include your name, photographer’s name if different from yours, email address, phone number and location of photo. Please identify any faces in the image, and obtain permission from them for this use.
Judges will select three winners. Each will receive a package of greeting cards with their photo on the front and their photo credit on the back.
Winners will be announced Nov. 15, 2016.
