New edition of Inspection Authorization Test Prep released

By General Aviation News Staff · October 21, 2016 ·

ASA has released the seventh edition of Inspection Authorization Test Prep, designed for Aviation Maintenance Technicians (AMT) seeking an Inspection Authorization (IA) qualification, as well as for AMT schools preparing students for the IA test.

The new edition provides the information and resources needed to pass the FAA Knowledge Exam and helps IA candidates become familiar with the privileges and limitations of the highest level of maintenance certification, according to ASA officials.

The nearly 500 sample questions typify those that candidates are likely to encounter, and train readers in the use of the available documents. Answer choices are supported with explanations, with FAA references identified for further study. Online “Reader Resources” provide additional tools for IA applicants.

In addition to the book, IA Prepware DVD and Prepware Download bring study, preparation, practice testing and evaluation tools to your PC or Macintosh computer to help familiarize applicants with the test before taking the FAA Knowledge Exam.

The test prep is available in softcover, as well as in an ebook.
