Picture of the day: Ready for ground school

By General Aviation News Staff · October 25, 2016 ·

Steve Nelson sent in this photo, with a short note: “The Wings Over the Rockies Museum at Centennial Airport in Denver holds a teacher day a few times a year. It sparks their interest in aviation, and hopefully that will trickle down to the students. Two astronauts spoke, then there were plane rides in three different aircraft — a Stearman bi-plane, Cessna 182, and a Jet Ranger Helicopter. This photo was taken as the astronauts spoke to the teachers. This little guy was ready for ground school.”
