Becker Avionics debuts BXT6513 Remote Transponder

By General Aviation News Staff · November 1, 2016 ·

Becker Avionics International has introduced the BXT6513 remote transponder with ADS-B out.

This transponder, with dual antenna, is designed for both fixed and rotary wing aircraft applications and meets the FAA TSO, according to company officials.

The unit can be controlled through dedicated control units, integrated Radio Tuning (RT) units, FMS, and EFIS glass cockpit displays.

Also included are exclusive features specifically designed for special mission aviation, such as airborne law enforcement and ISR profiles, company officials noted.

For business aircraft, the BXT6513 features flexible integration with current digital avionics packages or retrofit for legacy cockpits with TCAS I and will soon be certified for TCAS II.
