AOPA high school aviation STEM symposium set

The Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association (AOPA) will host the second annual AOPA High School Aviation STEM Symposium at the Museum of Flight in Seattle Nov. 6-7.

aopa-logoNearly 200 aviation educators and administrators from around the country who are dedicated to building and strengthening aviation STEM programs in high schools will attend this year’s symposium, which will focus on teaching practices, starting an aviation STEM program, and building partnerships.

Additionally, the final session of the symposium will be a discussion of the recently announced partnership between AOPA and Purdue University to develop aviation STEM curricula for high schools.
