Flying Musicians launches internship program for college students

By General Aviation News Staff · November 22, 2016 ·

The Flying Musicians Association has created an internship program for junior and senior year college students to share their talents and skills while learning about the aviation and music industry.

The program provides students the opportunity to earn college credit while developing skills and experience. Just as importantly, students will be able to develop a personal network of contacts within the aviation and music industries.

FlyingMusiciansLogoInterns will also be given the opportunity to attend select aviation and music events where FMA is participating for free. All interns will be offered a free one year student membership in the Flying Musicians Association.

The program rolled out at Vol State College in Gallatin, Tenn., and Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tenn.

Now, the association is planning to roll it out across the country.

The 2017 Internship Packet is available online.
