Well I think the man is going to do a very good job, after all he proved all the so called experts with decades of so called knowledge and years of training, all wrong and he did it all by himself. For any one to own 500 business and employ 22,500 people couldn’t be doing all that wrong. Give the man a chance, he said he was not a politician but a business man and that he is. So far he takes care of business in a hurry, he does things in one day that takes a politician four to six months with worse results. That is the difference between someone that works for a living and someone that takes from everyone for there own profit. So I say to most of you, ” quite your sniveling and whining cause you obvious don’t know what your talking about”. Kick back and relax..touche..Have a safe Holiday Season !!!

I hope he doesn’t fail… if he fails, we all do, but to be honest I’ve already given him a chance. This guy is not an unknown, and he’s been awful. Even if we examine just his run for President… but I’m looking at just during my own lifetime. He’s a real piece. So I won’t give him yet another chance.

But I hope he doesn’t fail. I hope GA can benefit from him; after all, he owns several aircraft and commented about the state of airports.

Of course it will benefit aviation because the dunderhead that now runs the FAA will be gone and we will get meaningful deregulation. I’m hoping Trump or whoever he appoints will stop putting up with FAA foot dragging, inefficiency, foot dragging and excusing themselves all the time.

Magical thinking generally doesn’t pay. Most of the time Trump doesn’t seem to have a very firm grasp on reality. Unfortunately, reality is exactly where general aviation takes place.

This person is the worst person to represent our nation.
He only cares about his self not the country.
    This person lies constantly.
I am just waiting for the Republican lead Coup to remove
    him from office.

All this shows is that most pilots are ignorant of Trump’s proposed policies. If you want pay each time you contact ATC, then good news! It’s coming.

“86% — believe the results of the recent election will have a positive impact on aviation as a whole.”- That is the benefit!

Based on the article, I see no benefit to General Aviation. Your headline seems misleading.

I think a lot of pilots are Trump supporters, so the results of that particular poll are not a surprise. The guy has already proven to be a loose cannon, building a cabinet which contradicts his campaign promises. He doesn’t care about us, but it would be nice.

These comments suggest I was wrong… I have more hope and less grope. 😉
