New edition of Visualized Flight Maneuvers Handbook released

By General Aviation News Staff · December 2, 2016 ·

The fourth edition of the Visualized Flight Maneuvers Handbook For Low Wing Aircraft has be released.

The manual, which covers all the flight maneuvers required for Private, Sport, Commercial, and Flight Instructor certification, is updated to comply with the Private Pilot Airman Certification Standards (ACS-6).

visualized-flight-manueversIllustrated fold-outs show each maneuver step-by-step from the perspective of flying a low-wing airplane.

Pilots will understand what they should be doing inside the cockpit and looking for outside the cockpit window to safely fly each maneuver and comply with FAA standards, according to the publisher.

The book contains full descriptions of stalls, slips, and ground reference maneuvers, as well as short, soft, and crosswind takeoffs and landings.

Also included are suggested checklists for everything from preflight to takeoffs and landings, performance, and checkrides.
