Now arriving: Santa

By General Aviation News Staff · December 3, 2016 ·

SEATTLE — Santa is letting his reindeer rest up for Christmas Eve, so he and Mrs. Claus will fly a vintage propeller plane to the Museum of Flight on Dec. 10.

The couple will arrive at 11:45 a.m.

Children and parents are encouraged to greet Santa at the plane, then he will be listening to children’s wishes in the Great Gallery until 4 p.m.

Museum visitors can also meet the Coca-Cola Polar Bear, with free mini bear dolls for the first 200 children.

Holiday music will begin at 12:30 p.m. with the Boeing Concert Orchestra, and at 2 p.m. with the Boeing Band.

There will be a live theater show, “Home for the Holidays-the USO story,” also at 2 p.m. The show recalls the good times the USO provided with music and song for our troops from the frontlines during world War II to the jungles of Vietnam.

The outdoor Santa event is free, while indoor festivities are free with admission to the museum (children age 4 and under are free).
