    Disagree to the extent that things have not changed at all insofar as aerodynamics is concerned. Aerodynamics are the same today as they were in December 1903 on Kill Devil Hill NC. The means to make use of aerodynamics to achieve flight in a powered heavier than air aircraft have changed as reflected in the photo which is an apples and oranges comparison of a fixed wing and a rotary wing aircraft.

    Looks like a BT-13 basic AAF trainer from WWII!
